If you missed last weeks run of swell on the East Coast don’t hate yourself to bad. Despite how good the wave quality was the enormous outbreak of moon jelly fish certainly dampened the stoke while in the water. Good sessions were had regardless but if those freaking d bags weren’t present it could have been amazing!
Well i guess Florida finally got a swell that lived up to all the hype. I’d travel half way around the world to surf waves as good as we scored on Friday and Saturday! The exciting part is we have more to look forward to! I’m sure it won’t be anything like Irene but at least Florida has had and will have some surf!!!!!!!!

A few more shots from the road. 24 hours of travel, some close brothers from different mothers, solid swell, a van that didn’t break down, a lot of paddling, some quality time, inspiring stories, and amazing kids equals a trip to remember. Last week will go down in the memory bank for sure.
The C* crew just got back from visiting all our homies in Mexico! The Mission Mexico Graduating class of 2011 came with us on a road trip from southern Chiapas all the way up to Puerto Escondido. The swell was pumping, the kids were frothing, the time was amazing, and the memories were everlasting. Thank you Hans, Mario, Jose, Pam, Allen, Stefan, Jonno, Sean, Hermy and anyone else who helped make this happen. It truly was epic!
